For International Women’s Day 2024, AllBright hosted the biggest event in the UK at Old Sessions House with gender equality front and centre of the agenda! We welcomed a line-up of change-makers, including CEOs from the global organisations and leading voices in areas from climate change to the gender health gap.
For anyone who attended, you’ll know just how exciting the day was, leaving everyone with a renewed sense of purpose and passion to go out and create real change in the world. Here’s a look back on the day and for anyone who missed out on a ticket, here is a sneak peek of the summit and all it had to offer!
An electrifying line up
Throughout the day there were 25 panels and workshops taking place, across four stages and areas; each focusing on a different element of how we can move the dial when it comes to gender equality.
The Step Forward stage played host to conversations with an array of accomplished women, and we started the day by sitting down with Trinny Woodall to discuss her journey as an entrepreneur. A highlight was when Trinny shared that comparison was the worst was to defuel your self confidence. This stage housed conversations on; Redefining Beauty with Emma Dabiri, Vick Hope, Jackie Adedeji and Holly Bourne, Leadership with Nishma Robb, Natalie Campbell MBE and Kruti Patel, Closing the Gender Healthcare Gap and Women Leading the Eco-Awakening.
Over on our Ambition stage the topics being explored included wealth, owning your career ambitions without apology, being a brow-raiser, the digital revolution and sport and leadership. We rounded off the day with a conversation with Deliciously Ella founder Ella Mills.
The Live Well Studio, powered by Rituals, gave us the time and space to focus on ourselves and learn that when we fill our own cup, we are able to create change in our lives and therefore the world. In this room we explored tapping, taking meaningful moments for yourself, tuning into your intuition, the power of connection, as well as listening to your inner voice with Caggie Dunlop.
From the future of marketing to getting started with investing and turning your imposter into your superpower, The Boardroom was the place to be to discover tangible tips and tricks on all these topics!
We then closed the day with an unforgettable conversation with the Canadian Queen of Comedy, Katherine Ryan! From side-splitting life anecdotes to thought-provoking career observations, Katherine's insights certainly ignited our passion for living authentically.
Experiences to remember
As well as diving into the most important topics facing women, there were also an abundance of activities to get involved with. They included in-depth analysis of your skin with cutting-edge technology by Caudalie and wine tasting from the Caudalie vineyard, the Benefit Brow Bar, and even having your future told by a psychic with Pandora. Tissot brought along their equipment so you could decide how far to push yourself and watch the results. There was even a pop up portrait studio for all attendees to get a professional headshot. Of course, there was a delicious selection of food throughout the day that was rounded off by Happy Hour at the end of the day. Every attendee also went home with a goody bag worth £150 with incredible products from the likes of Caudalie, Pandora, Rituals, Tissot, Floral Street, Pip&Nut, Dr.Lipp and more!
A huge thank you goes out to our partners Rituals, Caudalie, Tissot, Pandora, Benefit, Hargreaves Lansdown, British Business Bank and etoro.
