Let’s start with the bad news.
The past 18 months have been challenging for everyone, but it’s no secret that the pandemic has impacted women more than men. Women are 26% less likely to have a strong network than men (they don’t call it the Old Boys Club for nothing), and women's global job losses were 1.8 times greater during the pandemic. Add the balance of domestic and family duties falling disproportionately to women - lucky us - and things are looking a little bleak.
But don’t panic. Here comes the good news. The power of network has never been more important, and that’s exactly what our specialty is. In our recent poll, 90% of you said you want access to more networking opportunities, so we’re giving you just that. Who are we to deny the people?
